-
Excellent turntable great value. Easy set up and it sounds and looks great.
-
THE UNIT CAME THROUGH PERFECT PHYSICALLY. SEEMS TO HAVE A LITTLE ISOLUTION ISSUE ON THE BASE. IF ONE TAPS SLIGHTLY ON THE WOOD BASE, YOU HEAR IT THROUGH THE CARTIDGE. ALSO DISAPOINTED ON THE AUTO SHUT OFF FEATURE.IT WOULD TAKE AN INCH OR MORE PAST THE LABEL TO ACTIVATE.
-
I'm very happy with the 82. My sibling has an 85 and highly recommend your tables. Very high quality for the price.
-
For a turntable that's so reasonably-priced, the build quality and features are impressive. After some simple setup, it plays like a dream and because of the way these turntables are made, at this price point, it's basically a foundational platform that can easily turn into an RT85 down the road. Overall, a really solid turntable for general enthusiasts or someone new to vinyl looking to start things off right.

My 1979 Technics Q3 finally went bad on me and I needed a good turntable while I worked on it.
I wanted a removable headshell as I have many different cartridges I like to use. After researching for weeks I opted for the Fluance RT82, it had the functionality I wanted and the satin bamboo finish was all I could think about.
I could not be happier! The tone rivals and even surpasses that of my old Technics... that was unexpected. The first thing I noticed is how quiet it is between songs and at lulls in the music... never noticed the rumble of my direct drive until it wasn't there.
So, the Fluance went from a place holder to my main turntable. Right now I am running one of my 1978 Audio Technica LS 500 carts on it and the sound is simply phenomenal. Not to mention how nice the satin bamboo finish with black tonearm look with my set up. -
Good tunetable, I am satiafied with the build quality and sound.
-
Couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase....the sound is fantastic.

I have a lot of high hopes for this turntable based on reviews in various trade magazines. After some trouble getting it up and running, I think I will enjoy this item. I must say that when I reported a problem with the initial setup, I received prompt attention from customer service to help resolve my issue. Rebecca, one of the customer support personnel, reached out to me with suggestions and tips on how to get through the setup process. I believe that Fluance is ready to help with any issue I may encounter with the turntable in the future, which, hopefully will be few.

Beautiful turntable. We bought the piano black color. The unit was well packed. Instructions were good. The turntable is used at least three times weekly. Would buy again from Fluance
-
Seeing that the purchase of the RT82 was my second it was as pleasant as my first experience. What a great product and company, I would like it if you would please share my thoughts with the employees who made these products. After all they are the heart and soul that are producing such great products. From me to all of you, thank you and I now have a record player at both my houses.
-
After buying another brand and returning it after 2 weeks I bought a Fluance RT82 and love it. Awesome sound, I will say Records are sounding so much better than my CD's
-
Impressed with the speed of delivery, quality of packaging, and of course my turntable. The perfect upgrade for me. Truly worth it. Also great to support a Canadian company.
-
I love it! It's a major upgrade for me and I'm really enjoying it. It's made me a more active listener of vinyl and taught me a few things along the way. I really dig having something worthy of the records I've been buying, too. Easy to put together, too! Great experience.
-
I love my new Fluance Turntable! It looks and sounds gorgeous!
-
Incredible looking and sounding turntable for the value. Is my first entry into higher end sound for turntables and happy I went with Fluance. I noticed an immediate improvement in sound quality and the act of playing records is fun again. I went with the RT82 for budgetary reasons so I am looking forward to upgrading it with new components over time, likely with a new cartridge first.

FAQs
An amplifier is only needed if you’re connecting the turntable to passive speakers such as the Signature Series Bookshelf Surround Speakers.
If you’re looking for an option without a separate amplifier, the Ai40 Powered Bookshelf speakers fit the bill.
With the Ai40, all you need to do is connect the included RCA cables to your preamp, then to the speakers and you’re ready to listen to the music the way it was meant to be heard.
If you intend to use your Reference series turntable with powered bookshelf speakers such as our Ai40 model, a preamp will be required.
The preamp will boost the signal to line level (similar to a headphone jack) so you can play it on speakers with RCA or AUX inputs.
If you have a home theater or stereo receiver/amplifier, you will need a preamp if the amplifier does not have a PHONO input. If you have a PHONO input, you may have a preamp already built in. Be sure to refer to the manufacturer’s specifications or manual for confirmation!
This design choice was made with a number of factors in mind. The main reason was to separate electronics from the turntable’s signal path to maintain the purity of the analog signal. Many listeners also like to customize their listening experience and choose specific components such as preamps based on unique sonic qualities. Using separate components also allows for optimization of cartridge and phono stage compatibility. If you upgrade your cartridge in the future, you can pair with an optimal phono preamp to maximize performance and achieve the sound profile you desire. !
These new turntables include a servo belt drive motor.
What does this mean for you?
This means that you have a sensor checking and adjusting the speed of the motor up to 500 times a second to make sure the speed of your turntable is consistent with no manual adjustments, bringing wow and flutter under 0.07%!
