This a a FANTASTIC player. 0 people found this helpfulLove it. Its was an easy set up, has the right plugs ins for pre-amp and then to your speakers ( I recommend Edifier RT1700s if you want a mid level set up that wont break the bank). Get a good pre-amp, I went with ART DJPREII Phono Preamplifier. It's got a nice balance, plays smooth, really well built. The best drive is what I prefer and this one is nice. The arm is very well made, easy to set up and balance and feels very high end. I am not a audiophile in the traditional sense but i LOVE music and I love vinyl. I scored an unopened original copy of '1984' by Van Halen. Thats the one I played first and it sounded bad ass. The player when paired with good speakers and a pre-amp (you must get one, unless you have a tuner with a Phono option) is just perfect. Like I said, its not a cheapy player. Just 10/10 for me.

I love this beautiful machine! 0 people found this helpfulOriginally I got an AT-LP60X. I was so excited to receive it, but then my records kept skipping...even brand new ones. I decided to return it and purchased the Fluance RT82 instead. I am in love with this turntable! It's so sleek and beautiful! And not one of my records has skipped with it. It's also super fun setting it up. You do have to buy a separate pre-amp which I had to research because I didn't even know what one was really. So it takes a little bit of setup, but even a novice can figure it out. It also has great instructions included. I definitely recommend this turntable.

RT82- Great Turntable! 1 people found this helpfulMy wife and I selected the RT82 (along with the PA10 preamp) as our foray “back into vinyl”. We are so glad we did! The RT82 sounds great playing both new albums and legacy ones we had saved from college/pre CD days. We read many reviews and were impressed with RT82 features as well as “stated” sound quality. The RT82 has more than meet all those rave reviews. We also like the fact that the stylus cartridge as well as the platter appear to be easily upgraded if we desire. Thank you Fluance. We are DELIGHTED!
